A professional ceramic coating is a liquid, typically silica- (SiO2) based formula that's hand-applied to your vehicle's clear coat. As it cures it chemically bonds to the surface and forms a hard, slick, transparent layer that won't wash off like wax or sealant.
That layer becomes a sacrificial barrier between your factory paint and everything North Texas throws at it: relentless UV, 100°+ summer heat, lovebugs, bird droppings, tree sap, pollen and mineral-heavy sprinkler water. Inspection
We review your paint under studio lighting and take paint depth readings to plan safe correction.
Decontamination
Foam pre-wash, hand wash, iron fallout and tar removal, then clay to leave paint perfectly smooth.
Correction
Machine polishing removes swirls, scratches and haze, so the coating seals in a flawless finish.
Panel prep
A dedicated panel wipe removes polishing oils so the coating bonds directly to clean clear coat.
Application
Coating is applied panel by panel, leveled and inspected under multiple light sources.
Cure & hand-off
The coating cures before delivery. You get aftercare instructions and a final walkthrough.
What ceramic coating won't do
Plenty of shops oversell coatings. We'd rather you know exactly what you're buying:
- It's not rock-chip proof. Coatings are microns thin. For chip protection you want paint protection film, ideally with a coating on top.
- It's not scratch-proof. Coatings resist light wash marring better than bare paint, but keys, branches and automatic car-wash brushes can still scratch.
- It still needs washing. A coated car gets dirty; it just cleans up far faster and stays glossier between washes.
- Water spots can still happen. Coatings make mineral spots much easier to remove, but drying your car after washing still matters with Texas hard water.
Caring for your coating
Avoid washing for the first week while the coating fully cures. After that, hand wash every 1–2 weeks with a pH-neutral shampoo, use clean microfiber towels, and skip automatic brush washes. Many clients add a periodic maintenance detail where we decontaminate and top up the coating to keep it performing like day one.

How much does ceramic coating cost?
1-year FEYNLAB is $650, 3-year FEYNLAB is $1,250, 4-year Glosstech is $1,350 and 5-year FEYNLAB is $1,650, all with decontamination and a gloss enhancement polish included. Prices are for standard sedans; larger vehicles and extra correction steps ($550 each) are quoted after inspection.
How long does ceramic coating last?
Our packages are rated for 1, 3, 4 or 5 years depending on the coating. Real-world life also depends on how the vehicle is washed and stored. We'll recommend a coating based on how long you plan to keep the car.
Can I coat a brand-new car?
Yes, and it's the best time to do it. New cars often arrive with dealer-installed swirls and contamination, so we still decontaminate and polish before coating. Many owners pair it with front-end PPF.
Can you coat over PPF or a vinyl wrap?
Yes. We use coatings formulated for film and wrap surfaces, which add gloss (or protect a satin/matte finish), make cleaning easier and help the film resist staining.
Do you coat wheels, glass and interiors?
Yes. Wheel coatings fight brake-dust buildup, glass coatings improve rain visibility, and interior coatings help leather and fabric resist stains and dye transfer.
Is ceramic coating better than wax?
For durability, chemical resistance and ease of maintenance, yes. Wax lasts weeks to a few months in Texas heat. A professional coating is rated in years and keeps its gloss and water behavior far longer.
Can I take a coated car through a car wash?
Touchless washes are okay occasionally. Avoid brush or soft-cloth tunnel washes, which cause swirls on any paint, coated or not. Hand washing is always best.
How long do I need to leave my car?
Most coating packages take 1–3 days depending on the amount of correction and the coating's cure requirements. We'll give you a firm timeline before booking.
