What actually matters in a film
Modern premium PPF is built the same basic way: a thick, optically clear thermoplastic urethane (TPU) layer that absorbs rock impacts, with a self-healing top coat that lets light scratches disappear with heat. XPEL and UltraFit both fall into that premium category.
Where films really differ for you as an owner is clarity on your paint, how the edges look, how well the film resists yellowing and staining in Texas sun, and whether the warranty is backed by the manufacturer. UltraFit's Crystal XP (gloss) and Matte XP (satin) check those boxes, with a 10-year manufacturer warranty against yellowing, cracking and peeling.

The installer matters more than the brand

Prep & correct
Decontamination and polishing first, so swirls and specks aren't sealed under the film.
Precision pattern
Patterns cut for your exact year and model, with edges wrapped where possible so film lines are hard to spot.
Clean install
Installed in our studio, squeegeed and post-heated for a seamless finish with no lifting edges.
Coat & protect
Optional film-safe ceramic coating over the PPF adds gloss and stain resistance.

Do you install XPEL in Frisco?
No. We install UltraFit Crystal XP and Matte XP. They're premium self-healing films with a 10-year manufacturer warranty, and we recommend them for every PPF job we do.
Is UltraFit as good as XPEL?
Both are premium, self-healing TPU films with gloss and satin options and long manufacturer warranties. For most owners, the quality of the install (prep, pattern and edge work) makes a bigger visible difference than the brand.
What's the difference between Crystal XP and Matte XP?
Crystal XP is a clear, high-gloss film that's nearly invisible on your paint. Matte XP gives a gloss car a satin finish while protecting the paint underneath, and it's fully removable if you want the gloss back.
How much does PPF cost?
