Paint Correction in Frisco, TX
Those spiderweb swirls you see in the sun? Light scratches, water spots and dull, hazy paint? We remove them. Our machine paint correction restores true depth, clarity and a mirror finish, often better than the day it left the factory.
What paint correction removes
- Swirl marks & spiderwebbing
- Light to moderate scratches
- Buffer trails & holograms
- Water spot etching
- Oxidation & dullness
- Bird dropping & bug etching
We remove damage, not hide it
Paint correction is the process of machine polishing your vehicle's clear coat to permanently remove surface defects. Instead of filling swirls with glaze or wax that washes away in a few weeks, we level the clear coat so light reflects cleanly, revealing the deep, sharp gloss underneath.
Most swirl marks come from improper washing: automatic car washes, dirty towels, dealership lot "detail" crews and drying with old bath towels. In North Texas, hard-water spots and baked-on bird droppings add etching on top.
Correction is delicate work. Clear coat is thin, often thinner than a sheet of paper, and once it's gone, it's gone. That's why we measure paint thickness before polishing and use the least aggressive method that delivers the result, preserving as much clear coat as possible.
Planning a ceramic coating? Correction comes first. A coating locks in whatever it's applied over, so we correct the paint before any ceramic coating goes on.

Good questions, straight answers
How much does paint correction cost in Frisco?
A 1-step gloss enhancement polish is included with every ceramic coating package (from $650) and with our $450 Showroom detail. Paint that needs more gets additional correction steps at $550 each. We'll inspect your paint and tell you honestly how many steps it needs.
Will paint correction remove all scratches?
It removes defects within the clear coat: swirls, marring, light scratches and etching. If a scratch catches your fingernail, it may be too deep to remove completely without risking the clear coat, but it can usually be made far less visible.
Is paint correction safe for my paint?
Done properly, yes. We measure paint thickness, use the least aggressive method and remove only what's necessary. Most vehicles can be safely corrected multiple times over their life, especially when protected with a coating afterward.
How long does paint correction take?
A paint enhancement usually takes a full day. Two-step and multi-step correction typically take 1–3 days depending on vehicle size and condition, plus time for any coating.
How do I keep swirls from coming back?
Protect the paint with a ceramic coating, avoid automatic brush washes, and hand wash with the two-bucket method and clean microfiber. We'll show you exactly how at pickup.
